What Is Formidable Forms Plugin?

Review and Submit a WordPress Form

Formidable Forms is one of the popular WordPress form builder plugins available in the community. Thankfully, Strategy11 created this as a freemium product. Which means there’s a free version available for this product and also a premium version.

Just like every freemium product, the free version plugin got limits. You will be able to create forms in some simple mouse clicks but the plugin is limited with payment gateway integration, email marketing integrations, etc…

When you have the Formidable Forms premium in your hand, you will be able to create more advanced forms inside your WordPress blog.

Well for the review and submit a WordPress form feature, you would need the Formidable Forms premium plugin.

How to allow users to Preview Before Submitting a WordPress Form?

Now, let’s move to the tutorial.

The first thing you need is, purchase the Formidable Forms plugin. You will be able to do this with your credit card or by using your PayPal account. Once you got purchased, log in to your Formidable Forms account, download the latest version of a premium plugin.

And the next step is, installing the plugin on your blog.

You can manually upload the plugin to your blog or use any FTP client like FileZilla for uploading. After installing the plugin, activate it. Every Formidable Forms premium needs a valid license key. This will help you to get updates for the plugin.

Under the Formidable Forms plugin settings, you could see the section.

Activate the plugin with a license key.

Now, create a new form. Thankfully, Formidable Forms premium comes with a feature called Form templates. There, you will see pre-made form templates and you can easily import them to your form builder wizard.

On the left side, you will see the fields which you can be used. The right side will pull a live preview of the created form.

The recent update of Formidable Forms comes with a new field called Summary.

By default, the field will add every field and show them. Thankfully, you will be able to exclude custom fields from the summary or completely exclude custom field types.

Save the form.

Embedding the form is also simple. You can do this without adding any custom codes. Everything can be done using shortcodes.

Plus, Formidable Forms is also optimized for the WordPress 5.0 version (Gutenberg). You can add the Formidable Forms block to the Gutenberg editor, choose the form that you created.

And after that, publish/ update the page or post.

In the front end, you can see the form. And once you have started filling it, you will see the summary field at the end.

You can only add one summary field per each form. So, we recommend you adding the summary at the end of the form. It will make sense.

This is how you can allow users to preview before submitting a WordPress form.
