Translating Your Blog Posts
Since we added one more language (Spanish) to our website, we will need to save our permalinks again. From the WordPress settings and permalink settings, you will be able to change the structure. Don’t change the format if you have already published blog posts and ranked them in the search engines.
Simply save the permalink settings, and you are ready to go.
If you check your website’s homepage, you will see a language switcher option at the bottom right corner.
Here in our case, we have created a sample blog post with a dummy content.
We have written it in English, as you can see. Now, let’s switch to Spanish and see how it goes.

As shown in the above gif, the plugin will take care of the rest whenever we use the language switcher. Thus, the content, sidebar widget, and whole website will be translated into the target language.
So this way, your website visitors can translate your blog content into the different languages you selected. And as you noticed, they need to manually select the language from the switcher. However, if you have access to the visitor language detection and redirection, the server will automatically show them the translated version.
From your Weglot dashboard, you can see the word count and other options.
You can also edit your blog posts using the visual editor. For that, go to a post, select the Weglot option, and choose the visual editor.
You will be redirected to the editor soon. From there, you need to select the target language.
Then choose the highlight qualities option. We will select all here.
After choosing this option, you will see some highlighted boxes inside your content. All the texts are automatically translated into your target language. However, if you find any translation mistakes, you can edit them manually. Click on the pencil icon for manual editing.
You will see your original text and its automatic translation on a pop-up. So, to make the changes, you need to edit the second field and click on ok.

You can choose a plan from there and complete the payment using your credit card or PayPal account.
This way, you will be able to translate every content on your blog.
Why Weglot Premium Is Recommended?
The free plan is not a good choice if you explain the content well through your blog posts. As you know, the free version plan comes with only 2000 words. In our case, some of our blog posts contain more words than that. So, relying on the free version plan is not a good idea if you run a big content blog.
On the other hand, the free version plan is good for business and one-page websites.
We highly recommend testing out their premium version for a better experience. You can start a free trial and see how it goes. Every plan comes with a 10-day free trial.
