How To Set Up a Reward System On Your WooCommerce Store?
Now, let’s learn how to set up a reward system on your WooCommerce store. First of all, purchase a plan according to your use. It can be Growth or Business. You can complete the order using your PayPal account or Credit Card. After purchasing the plugin, log in to your Advanced Coupons account.
You can download the premium plugin files with the license key.
Simply install the plugin on your site and activate it. After that, verify the license key. Doing it will help you to get support from the developers and updates. So, it’s mandatory.
The developer team will default turn off the loyalty program feature on the plugin settings. What we need to do is, enable it manually.
It can be found under Advanced Coupon Settings > Modules. Enable the Loyalty Program feature there and save the changes. Now, we have successfully enabled the reward system in our store.
The next thing we need to do is, configure the system according to our liking.
After enabling it, you will see its configuration under the Advanced Coupons settings section.
If you check the configuration we entered above, we have set the price to points earned ratio as 1 and points to the price redeemed ratio as 10.
This means when someone spends 1 dollar on your store, they will earn 1 reward point. And they can redeem it when they have 10 points minimum.
Let’s go with an example. Let’s say you have kept the default configuration on the store mentioned above. And when someone spends $50 on your online shop, they will earn 50 reward points. And they will be able to redeem the 50 reward points later.
You can also rename Points to something else. Well, that’s totally up to you. The next step is to choose the point calculation option.
There are mainly four options.
- Discounts.
- Tax.
- Shipping.
- Fees.
You can skip this step by leaving default values there.
The next step you need to take care of is to show the points a user can earn on his order. The team also configured values there for you.
The {points} shortcode will display how many points a customer will earn. You can display this custom message on your cart page and checkout page. Now, we need to restrict some things.
You can choose who can redeem coupon codes from the settings.
The page will show you every user role. You can choose the roles you need to restrict the reward point. On top of that, you can set a minimum order amount for claiming the points and a minimum number of points you can redeem at a time.
Now, choose how a user can get reward points.
The final step we need to do is, set up an expiry date for your reward points.
You know, if you purchase products from online shops like Flipkart. They will give you super coins for each X amount. And the thing is, the coins will expire after 365 days!
Setting this is essential. You can also configure the date, messages, etc. Once you have configured everything, save the plugin settings. So from now on, whenever a user purchases something from your online shop, his account will be credited with the reward points you configure.
So this is how you can set up a reward system on your WooCommerce store. As you can see above, this is pretty simple; even a beginner can do it.
With the help of the Advanced Coupons plugin, you can take your online shop to the next level!
